H&E Naturist Magazine, one of the last remaining paper publications for naturists, has just changed hands. The new owners, EJS Communications Ltd, are making some big changes. Gone are the slightly — OK, very — dubious “adult” personal adverts and, in the really big change, the magazine is going digital-only.
As I write this on 28 May 2026, the H&E Naturist website is down. The splash page currently reads: “The website is undergoing scheduled maintenance. Sorry for the inconvenience. Come back a bit later, we will be ready soon!”
If you were to draw a Venn diagram of magazines covering naturism, adult content, and porn, then H&E Naturist would probably occupy a spot that overlaps all three circles. Mostly in the naturist circle, certainly, but there were obvious parts of the old paper publication that drifted into the other two.
I hope this move proves successful for the new owners. Going digital-only is an obvious step to take, making the publication far more phone- and tablet-friendly.
Dropping the non-naturist adverts and pushing the magazine more towards the naturist lifestyle would also be a welcome change.
Nude Is Normal wishes the new team every success.
