A statue honouring Monty Python’s Terry Jones as the “Nude Organist” is set to grace the seafront of his hometown, Colwyn Bay, next April. The tribute, titled A Python On The Prom, was created by sculptor Nick Elphick in collaboration with Jones’s family, fellow Pythons Michael Palin and Terry Gilliam, and local supporters. Fans worldwide helped raise £120,000 in just six months to celebrate the late comedian’s eccentric genius and lasting legacy.
